Upgrades
SaberForge offers electronics upgrade (and downgrade) services on our sabers. Depending on the saber you have, we can make changes.
You may now initiate an upgrade request here for sabers made in or after 2015 (see guidance below for older sabers).
The following table illustrates some differences between electronics options that will be available depending on the saber. Variables such as the number of emitters and the type of socket will impact the options and prices available.

*Items sent to us for upgrade that need old electronics removed, before installation of new electronics upgrade, have a minor labor charge of $29.99. Old electronics are always returned in the package with the upgraded items.

If you have a saber that is more than ten years old (before 2015):
Please send an email to help@saberforge.com and request an upgrade with the subject line “Upgrade Request [order number]”. If you do not know your order number, that is okay; we can try and look it up for you. When sending email requests, please also include images of the saber so that we can review what you have to discuss any limitations. We would specifically like to view a profile of the saber, the switch section, and inside the emitter where the blade goes. Please note, again, pricing for upgrades will vary depending on what upgrade you request and what labor will be required to complete an upgrade service.
