While blade is active
Active mode is when your saber blade is lit (the LED is active) and making sound (if enabled).

| Point blade downward, hold button and twist saber | Color Change Mode | Beep sound will play to confirm color mode entry. Twist saber to choose color, hold button to select color choice. A beep will play to confirm your color selections and exit color change mode. |
| Hold button and continue to swing saber. | Multi-block Mode | While swinging, blaster bolt block sound will continue to play and you no longer have to tap the button to activate the effect while the button remains held. Tap button or stop swinging to deactivate effect. |

While blade is in standby
Standby mode is while your saber is on (accepting inputs) but the blade is not active.

The saber will activate with sound muted. Sound will reactivate automatically next time you activate the saber. |
| Hold button for 1 second then release | Next Soundfont | Audio cue for next soundfont will play. |
| Hold button until audio cue plays | Previous Soundfont | Audio cue for previous soundfont will play. |
| Hold button and clash saber | Enter/Exit volume menu | Beep will play to confirm that you are in the volume menu. While in volume menu bold button for 1 second and release to lower volume. Once saber no longer gets quieter, you are at the lowest available volume. To raise volume tap button. Once saber no longer gets louder, you are at the highest available volume. |
