Knight Saber Guard Assembly
Knight Saber Assembly Instructions:
- Unpack the saber body, guard, and provided O-rings (see image below for guidance).
- Add one O-ring* to the body visible male threads on the saber body (we recommend using O-ring size 1.2mm x 26 here).
- Place the hand guard on the saber body after O-rings from step 2; visible notches in the hand guard align with notches on the body.
- Add a second O-ring on the male threads again; this O-ring will be above the hand guard (we recommend 1mm x 26 here).
- Thread on the emitter/cap.
* O-rings are an easy style of “shim” to reduce gaps or wobble and enhance part alignment without the need for glue or Locktite. This allows customers the option to change or remove parts as desired. The provided O-rings and suggestions are what we found creates the classic “Saber Forge” alignment; you may choose different shim thicknesses for alternative cap alignment.

Other details to note:
- Only Knight sabers purchased after June 2026 are available with removable guards.
- At this time, the guard, emitter, and pommel featured for Knight builds are not compatible with other ASP parts. Options that will work with ASP parts are in the works and will be available at a later time.
