This item conceals the recharge port and requires an external Slim Charger to charge the battery.

For those seeking to remove the core from this saber for the purpose of replacement or to add an RGB adapter, you need to do the following:

• Using the same Allen key for blade retention, remove the screw from the box of the switch section.
• The box and a plunger can then be removed, revealing the electronics button underneath.
• Remove the retention screw opposite the button (back of the saber).
• Now the core is free to be removed

When re-installing the core, performing the reverse functions, be sure that the button of the electronics is centered visibly in the hole before installing the retention screw that holds it in place. When installing the switch box back on, you may need to raise or lower the core retention screw to adjust the button tension (the plunger that activates the button within the switch box).
